Children

CongoKids-01Congo Kids is our ministry from birth to 5th grade. Our purpose is to give kids an understanding of Christ’s love that it might grow in their hearts and take root in their lives, giving them a foundation to live boldly for Him.  We believe ministry is done best in the context of relationships, and we know that our influence combined with a parent’s influence is the best way to encourage kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Nursery
Sundays, 9:30 – 11:45 am.  Our nursery is open Sunday mornings for infants through toddlers.

Sunday School classes
Sundays at 9:30 am. We have an interactive Sunday school classes for ages pre-K – 5th grade.  Classes meet upstairs in rooms 22 and 23.

We’ve been working through a curriculum called ‘Buck Denver Asks..What’s In The Bible’. It’s been a real blast. Take advantage of this crucial ministry; ensure your child has a strong understanding of their faith to build a stable foundation so they can build on it into adulthood and serve Christ for their life-times!

Children’s Church

All children (except nursery-age children) start in our main worship service at 10:30 am.  Midway through the worship service, young children (pre-K – 4th grade) have the option to leave for Children’s Church – an age-appropriate and fun worship service all their own. Currently the kids are going through DIGGING INTO THE HEART OF GOD. This curriculum brings a fresh approach to growing a lifelong relationship with God. As kids explore God’s character throughout the Bible, God transforms them from the inside out. Kids discover what it means to reflect the heart of God in everyday life.

Children’s Choir
Our Children’s Choir sings for Christmas Eve and Easter services.  Practices take place Sundays during Children’ Church about one month prior to each performance.

Safety
All of our children’s programs meet regulations established for children educational standards.  Children’s programs are staffed by two or more workers or individuals who have been interviewed and passed background check reports.
