“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
There are priorities in God’s kingdom, and love is at the top of the list. Kingdom love is not just any kind of love. It is a love that endures all things, believes all things, hopes all things. The current of this love is powerful enough to wash away the faults, quirks, mistakes, and even deliberate sins of others. This love is not optional. Love is the oxygen of the Kingdom; the Church can’t survive without it. Our church will die without deep love for each other, but with it, we will keep growing with abundant life.
God of love, If we do anything well, let us, Your children, be like You, our Father, in our love for each other. Amen.
