Wisdom to be Patient, September 6, 2017

by Chuck Hetzler

“A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.”  Proverbs 19:11

Patience is a highly valued commodity in God’s kingdom. The high and mighty of our world may not be known for their patience, but to God, patience is a glorious achievement. Patience stems from wisdom. When we know that we cannot fix everything by our own power and that God’s timing is often different from our own, then we will have wisdom. And then we will have patience.

Father in Heaven, Give me the wisdom that comes from You and the patience that follows. Amen.
