The Spirit’s Help, April 28, 2018

by Chuck Hetzler

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26

There are times when we’re so tired, hurting, and confused that we can’t even pray. We want to ask for God’s help, but we don’t have the energy to form the words to pray. At those times, we’re not alone. The Holy Spirit is in us and He prays for us as we only manage to groan in helplessness. You’re never alone.

Holy Spirit, Thank You for Your work in my life. I trust in Your help. Amen.
