The Lord Our Rock, September 11, 2017

by Chuck Hetzler

“David sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul: ‘The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.'”  2 Samuel 22:2

We can only count on one thing in life, and that is God. Circumstances around us will be unpredictable. People will let us down. Hardships will come our way. But God is always a rock to stand on. When we do not understand, we can climb to a place of safety and know that all will be well as we trust in Him.

Dear Lord, Give us, and all those who are afraid, trust to rely on You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
