The Bond of Peace, August 31, 2017

by Chuck Hetzler

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”  Ephesians 4:3

As the people of God, the Church represents God to the world. Our unified stance on the foundation of Jesus Christ is essential for our witness to be compelling to the world. If we can’t keep the peace among ourselves, why would anyone want to join the Church? So, we must make every effort to preserve our Christian bond by living at peace with every fellow Christian no matter his/her background, personality or opinions.

Father, Let Your Holy Spirit bring peace in my heart so that I can be an agent of peace in Your Church. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
