The Congo has often been known for its musical excellence. Our acoustically-friendly sanctuary is regularly a site for special community concerts. Our worship services combine a diversity of music in style and era. We sing modern songs with a worship team along with hymns accompanied by pipe organ.
Jessi Sparks is our adult choir director, accompanied by organist David Moore. The choir sings almost every Sunday. They practice Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM. Talk to Jessi or a choir member about joining them. No tryouts are required.
Hand Bell Choir
Marianne Peters directs the Hand Bell Choir. The Bells play once per month from September – May. Practices are Wednesdays at 6 PM. Talk to Marianne if you are interested in playing bells.
Our Children’s Choir sings for Christmas Eve and Easter services. Practices take place Sundays during Children’ Church about one month prior to each performance.
Our worship team currently consists of vocalists, guitar, keyboards, drums, bass, trumpet and sax. We run a quick sound check on Sunday mornings at 9:25, and have occasional practices on Sunday afternoons. Contact Chuck Hetzler if you’re interested in playing or singing.
